History – Ashok Academy CBSE School
Ashok Academy, one of the oldest CBSE affiliated schools in Mumbai, was founded by a renowned educator Mrs. Roshan Irani in the year 1979 with a mission to offer quality education. Mrs. Roshan Irani is a woman of substance with an experience and expertise of 5 decades in schooling and administrative field. She is a woman with ethics and morals who can offer solutions out of the book. Mrs Irani believes her school is a community of lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.
The school is established in a quaint structure in the heart of the suburban area of Mumbai, Lokhandwala complex of Andheri. The school administration is skillfully managed and provides a strategic vision. The team works closely with the principal and teachers to fulfill the mission of Mrs. Roshan Irani. Achieving excellence together is the motto at Ashok Academy where every student is equally important and personal attention is given to every student. Practice of mass education is not considered, quality is our standard.
Quality Education, smaller student-teacher ratio and individual attention came to define Ashok Academy and gave it the impetus to grow. We are proud of the fact that over the years, thousands of students have passed out of our school with flying colors, excellent academic results and are today successful and illustrious citizens of India.
The School currently enrolls students from Nursery to Grade 10 and is one among the eminent CBSE schools in Andheri, continually striving to provide an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience to children.

Objective
A child’s complete development is essentially a combined effort of both parents and the school. Parents are the most important pillars of the school as we believe they are their first teachers. We emphasise on this partnership by encouraging involvement of the parents through “Open- House Meetings” conducted on the last Friday of every month. Besides discussions on the student’s performance in class, these meetings also work as a platform to discuss and understand parents or a child’s personal challenges and difficulties being faced at home, which could impact the child’s education.

Students are encouraged to pursue a wide range of stimulating co-curricular activities like dance, drama, art and craft, karate, badminton, swimming, to name a few.
About Administrator
The administration of Ashok Academy is looked after by Miss Dilshad Irani. She believes that the strength of the Academy has always been in its strong and dedicated team work and the spirit to bring out the best in every student. She focuses on enriching the personality of students by being an active planner inculcating positivity in staff and students. She has immense understanding of widening horizons and creating a platform for students to grow in the most flourishing way. She pays much attention to the discipline as it is considered to be the most crucial part of success. Her commitment is not only in the academic growth of students but also nurture in them inward honesty. She gets deep joy in maintaining a relationship of ‘sharing and caring and being kind’.
